- I liked the infrastructure (only comparing it with other du colleges).
- The crowd was really good with zero toxicity. The faculty is also supportive if you take up some research project.. atleast for econ department
Dislikes
- PLACEMENTS. No internship or placement support was provided and I take it to be the worst part
- Sports was only for the state or national level players. We as commoners had no annual sports events or compulsory physical trainings.
Remarks :
No. It was purely on the basis of merit. The best 4 subjects' percentage was counted. We belong to the covid batch so did not have any board exams in class 12th that led to cutoffs reaching the peak and I chose lakshmibai because it was the best amongst available options.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculty is good and approachable. I chose economics purely because of my love for the subject. The exams were conducted regularly and ranged from moderate to difficult. The course is rigorous as compared to other courses in delhi university but the kind of books we've been made to read have contributed to strong conceptual foundation.
Internships Opportunities :
I was looking for internship during my 3rd year but had zero support from college. It's more like school where they just want you to focus on studies. I however took up a couple of research projects because proper guidance was available.
Placement Experience :
No one was placed from our batch. Infact Wings, the placement community kind of got dissolved when I was in my second year. I don't think any course saw any kind of placements or internships from college. Given that it is not a main campus college, the lack of brand name was a difficulty when we went out looking for good internships.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
It was a little less for the first year, I don't exactly remember. For 2nd and 3rd year it was 12700 approx each. I would categorize this as affordable for people coming from different stratas of society. Other than this we had to buy the readings and pay examination fee on DU portal
Campus Life :
Fests are conducted annually and limit the audience to females only. There are societies like enactus, CIE Cell and many more but lack of placement cell is a big lag. There is a fairly good 2 floor library.
Hostel Facilities :
There is no hostel facility. There is a mess cum canteen that serves okayish food. It is affordable and seems hygienic. Pk momos that is right outside the gate, however, has maximum customers. For pg, you find one in a range of 200-500 mtrs and normally ranges from 10k-16k per month

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

Placement Experience :
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
