- Faculty is extremely well read and knowledgeable. The presence of a faculty like this,makes education rigorous, though enjoyable.
- New infrastructure has been built and inaugurated recently (2023-2024) and it's well equipped with spacious classrooms,cleaner washrooms etc.
Dislikes
- Lack of placement cell has been a major issue from the start. The lack of attention by the college faculty is alarming .
- Lack of sanitary hygiene in water coolers and the washrooms are a despicable sight.
Remarks :
No group discussions or interviews. Admission based solely on CUET score and allocation. The important thing to note is to fill in our CUET prefrence list carefully and with intent. This affects your chances of getting into your dream college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum for this academic semester is hectic and ill planned. The faculty however is well read and knowledgeable. The term exams adhere to the University of Delhi guidelines and are held timely twice an academic year. The exam difficulty ranges from moderate to tough.
Internships Opportunities :
The downside to this college is the non availability of in campus/campus aided internships and placement offers. The lack of placement cell has been a raging issue for a long while and has not been assisted with any concern or improvement by the college.
Placement Experience :
The intership/placement cell is inactive in Lakshmibai College. This is a major concern since the intership/placement cell is a must at every college and the lack of it toys with the future possibilities of employment.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearwise fees- 13,500 The lab charges are dependent on your course structure. Fee concession available for category students on the basis of scholarships. The lab fees etc will depend on what electives you choose such as VAC,SEC,AEC. The lab fees vary upon your subject choices.
Campus Life :
There was our first fest on May. The library is well resoruced with books, magazines and newspapers. This college has one of the best sports department and the presence of clubs enchaces the college life.
Hostel Facilities :
There is no provision of hostel by the college. The university, however has hostels for girls and boys, seperately. The university hostel is well maintained and clean. They also have laundary services, alongwith complimentary services depending on each hostel.

IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
