Factors like Affordable fees, Exposure of Delhi , Good placements were the factors that made me select this college. Admission process are as follows. Firstly in the month of Feb you will have to apply for JMI counselling which accepts Jee Mains score(you only need JEE mains registration no.). Then best score of JEE Mains either jan or april shit will be counted. After that you will be shortlisted on the basis of JM score and selected students need to physically report and complete further formalities.
I am doing BTech EE (regular). Course curriculum is at par with other NITs and faculty is decent most of them have completed their PhD. They provide notes and assignment and question mostly come from assignment. There 3 exams in 1 sem. 2 mid term and 1 end sem. Mid term are easy to moderate and end sem are moderate to tough (can be nailed in just 1 week study before exam).
There is no direct internship provided by the college but at lot students apply individually. Internships like KAUST, MITAACS, KAUST are some internships completed by our seniors. For tech students Microsoft, google are some companies that provided internships.
Placement is decent with some MNC like Microsoft also hiring from JMI. Most companies requires 8+ CGPA. Companies like Microsoft, Adobe, L&t, Seimens etc. CSE have a great placement with 15 LPA avg. core branches also have placement. Placement rate is 80%.
i have paid total of 16625 for first year. With comprises of tuition fees, examination fees, lab, library and other charges. Fees is same for every student irrespective of their category. For self finance course fees structure is different and they have 1.5 lakh yearly fees. But you can always avail NSP scholarship (If eligible).
We have lush green campus with lawn at every faculty. Every faculty has their library and canteen. FET(faculty of engg.) library is big enough to accommodate 300 students easily. Campus is equipped with wifi. Central Library has large books collection of 4 lakh books ranging from academic to non-fiction. We have sports complex it has a full fledged gym, tennis court, indoor basketball court, badminton court, cricket stadium and football ground. There are various clubs and society.
JMI is a semi residential university which means not every students gets hostel. We have points based system those with higher points will only get the hostel. For hostel you also have to give interview. Hostel is very affordable. If you dont get hostel like me you can rent rooms of PG, there are lots of PG in nearby area like Batla House, Sukhdev Vihar.

So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
