I chose this college because it was a DU college and a good one at that, so the prestige was obviously a factor. It offered a course which matched my preference perfectly so that was a plus point. I researched a lot and hence i put it on top for my cuet preference list. The cut off for hons courses are a bit high but you can get in BA prog if you were down by 10-15 marks. The college is great, campus is amazing. Its a girls college yes but honestly its super fun and most of the girls are amazing. The teachers are very nice too. Can get a bit uncooperative sometimes but in the end its all manageable and worth it for me.
I chose this course because my interest lies in this. Also the curriculum is good till now. The teachers are nice and helpful and they teach us well. Sometimes they also teach us very practically like they take us out and all, its very refreshing.
The yearly fees is around 22000 for my course(BA Programme). Other than that only cuet fees was there. Other than that, and btw no one tells you this, in every DU college they take exam fees for exams. Before every exam!!!
The infrastructure is very pretty and no matter the season, jmc is always so so pretty. I would honestly not have chosen anything else. The fests happen and theres always something or the other happening in college. The campus life is super vibrant and everyone’s so chill. You can also follow du beats or du club for more info on du colleges.
Hostel isnt available but you can check out PGs in satyaniketan or anand niketan. My personal preference is anand niketan because its so much better. Although the rates are a big high but honestly overall this is a much safer bet.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
