Remarks :
Admission process was through CUET exam. For this preparation exam i prepared through YouTube CUET exam was of 800 marks and I got something around 650 but I got through JMC through interview for christian minority because the college is a Christian and women's college
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course first of I got 95% in sociology in class 12 and the course is all about the society which I liked about the groups, class ,castes and many more. Review of teaching method is also good
Internships Opportunities :
I opted for this CUET express internship where I've opted for the content writing. It's a great opportunity for me to work there. It's an online internship. I'm looking for more free online internship

Placements and job opportunities are there inside my college. After getting the degree I'm planning to do Masters in sociology or social work. After my masters I'll do either B.ed or PhD in wherever I'm comfortable in
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Total fee for one semester is 21175. And there are many fees where student has to pay for example such as the stationary fee, library feeling, sports fee, student aid fund fee, cultural council fee, college magazine fee
Campus Life :
Life at campus is good. There are many societies which I've taken and was interesting. Fests are also conducted. I'm glad that I got admission in this college. There are various societies such as dance, singing, art and quiz and many more
Hostel Facilities :
There is no hostel inside the college but we stay in pgs and hostels outside and near the college. There are many hostels and pgs in satya Niketan for girls. I'm living in a hostel in rk puram sector 1 called the prabhatara hostel, institute of social service

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
