This college is one of the top women colleges in Delhi University, I got admission in the college and course by giving CUET entrance exam. We have to choose the main 4-6 subjects according to the eligibility of the course we want to choose, after that we have to prepare very well for the mcqs in a given time of 1.5 hours. The marks goal you've to score should be according to your catagory, try to score more than 780 out of 800. Then only you'll get a seat . There are almost 4 rounds of counselling and a spot round at last . In my college the bad aspect is I don't think so because the college and faculty everyone is so nice and easy. If I talk about the canteen and food that can be a bad aspect only because the area is so small according to the no. of students in college and also the menu is not so well prepared or tasty. According to a student, the rates are also high of each and everything which is not worth it too.
Course curriculum is great as we study in variety, ge , aec, vac, sec subjects which gives us a option to study the subjects regardless of our dsc subjects . In ge hindi , English and if we have a combination of language then the different subjects paper are also offered such as nationalism in india from political science, social psychology from psychology, museum and museology from history. The aec subject is EVS for one semester and Hindi for another, alternatively. These subjects enhances a student core knowledge to attend any future exams . Apart from this we have sec ( skill enhancement curriculum) which offers the papers like creative writing, yoga in daily life, museum and museology, sports, literature, constitution, etc. Another one is vac ( value additional curriculum) it offers the papers like intro to indian constitution, finance, digital marketing, fashion designing. So these are so important as they enhances good skills and knowledge in a student.
No I haven't opted for any internships yet because I'm in my 1 semester. But I'll definately go for the internship in future if I get in any modern art gallery, museum or historical place. Got this information from my history mentor

The infrastructure of JMC is so well built, the campus is so beautiful and we feel alive there. Social life is good and the clubs and societies have varieties, also, in our college it's compulsory to participate in any one society of College.
No, there's no hostel facility in our college . As there are many pgs and hostels in south campus so college need not to offer the facilities of hostel and mess. So the hostel in not available in our college

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
