As I couldn't get into any NLUs so best law college in delhi was VIPS and didn't want to go to DU so choose this as an option as the faculty for law is great here. For admission the law students are supposed to give CLAT exam and on the basis of rank the students get the college and there is a cut off list that comes out for every category of students and the ranks according to which the colleges would be allotted so that the students have an idea in which college to go and choose the best out of the options they have.
Choosing law makes a person more and more wiser as they get to know about every peice of knowledge about how the country is operating in several sectors and it is insightful to know about, the more you learn the more practical you become and the internships that one goes for under advocates there's so much more to it than just knowing from people in how it feels and how it is to be a law student..... Until now the faculties that have taught me have there PhDs in law there teaching method is totally based on taking up real life problems and then making us understand the concepts. As the session starts in August the internals are held at the beginning of November and then students get sometime to prepare for the final exams that are held in dec-jan. If a student is attentive enough in the lectures he/she knows that the exams are quite easy .
No being in 1st year we don't have to do any internships until now and even when ilwe have to go for internships we have to find them on our own. The placement cell doesn't help in that case. If students have to die internships every semester then they have to find all the internships on there own.
For placements there is a placement cell which is quite active one can get placements through them.....the provided packages are mostly around 6.5 Lakh per annum and after gaining experience for few years students can apply to higher companies to get a much higher income for a higher role.
Fee Structure is 1.5 lakh during the 1st year and gradually it is decreased to a certain amount there are many scholarships one can avail either national level scholarship, Dr. BR ambedkar scholarship or e-district ones. The fee for the complete course is 5 lakh until now it hasn't changed and the fees is same for all.
Life at campus is very happening there is always something going on that is what college life is about and it is a lot more fun when you have to right people to enjoy your time with. Social life at VIPS for anyone would be really nice as the crowd here is quite chill.. one could just go and sit with anyone and have fun. There are many clubs/societies as well so that one can get indulged in them, infrastructure is superb... One of the fest was conducted in vips was during sept... TEDX VIPS... Library are just so nice... There is a basketball court in the campus and many other sports as well volleyball, cricket, badminton etc.
Hostel facilities are not provided but there are a number of PGs near the campus... Don't have hostel facilities so don't know about it but the PGs are there and the rent is to be given for them it's on the owner if they take the rent quarterly or monthly a cook is there although.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
