- I really like the GIET campus and surrounding area .
- GIET have beautiful infrastructure. Many buildings are having different different design designs.
Dislikes
- Some of the days, the food quality in mass is not that good.
- The summer days have unbearable heat, which is very difficult in the afternoon.
Remarks :
Giet University has a very beautiful campus. It is totally surrounded with nature. It has mountain ranges surrounding the whole area. It has a big library that attracts when it is a big campus area. A big mess for students to eat. At the time of admission, if we have given any competitive exams, then we may not need to write the entrance exam of GIET.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Keeping in mind the popularity of the data science branch, I opted for the data science branch in GIET University. Faculty members of GIET are really good. Many of them are doctorate in their own subjects. We have semester exams every six months. Before that we have 2 20 marks class test and two marks cycle test difficulty level is not that high.
Internships Opportunities :
GIET offer a good opportunity for internship. A good number of companies visited this year for placement and internships. Many workshops are conducted for hands on training and experience so that students can have some basic knowledge while going for placement and internships.
Placement Experience :
According to some seniors placement drive, this year was good. To sit for the placement drive, we must have seven pointers CGPA.many reputed reputed reputed companies visited this year for the placement. A good number of students got their placement.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure for every year is 275000. Fee is paid in 2 intervals. At the time of admission, we have to pay 137500. For second semester, we have to pay another 137500. The phase the addition of both my fees and hostel fee.
Campus Life :
Campus life of GI GIET is really good. Our college organise first user in the month of December or February.the phase is celebrated in a grand way . We have a very vast number of books in our library, including journals.all our classrooms are connected with projectors. We have many types of clubs. We have cyber security club, robotics club, etc.
Hostel Facilities :
we have 14 hostels in our college. We have a big mess for eating area. Our food menu changes every day food quality is good. Registration for hostel and mess is done during the admission time. If someone wants to rent a room or PG outside the college campus, then they can find near to the collegepremises easily, affordable price.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Course Curriculum is well structured ,in first year, evry branch subjects are mostly common and from second year onwards they taught branch specific subjects. Faculties are highly educated and they are also clear their engineering from best colleges

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
