- College surrounding is very good. It's covered with greenery and mountains.
- Aur college infrastructure is really beautiful. Different branches different buildings of different designs.
Dislikes
- Some days the food quality of mess is bad.
- Summer days have unbearable heat which gets worse in afternoon.
Remarks :
Giet have a really beautiful campus. It is surrounded by mountain and forest all around it. At the time of admission if we have taken any competitive exam then we don't have to give the giet entrance exam.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Keeping in mind the advancement of data science branch in giet. The faculty members of giet really talented. Some of the faculty members at doctorate in their own subjects. We have two cycle test and two class test before a made semester exam. Moderate difficulty level of the exam.
Internships Opportunities :
I don't have many ideas about the internship as I am a first year student. But according to some seniors our college do provide internships to students. College also conduct some workshops for experience of students which can help them in getting good placement.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility for placement for 7th or 8th semester students is above 7 CGPA. Placement drive this year is good. Many repudiated companies visited our college and taken a good number of students. My plan is to get a good placement after my degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure for every year is 275000. Fees is paid in 2 intervals. At the time of admission we have to pay 137500 for first semester. For second semester we have to pay another 137500. The fees is addition of both fast and furious College fees and mess fess.
Campus Life :
Every year fest is conducted in either the month of December or February. It is celebrated in a grand way. Many types of books and journals are available in the library. all our classrooms are connected with projectors and CCTV. Annual sports like badminton cricket basketball Kabaddi are organised. We have different types of clubs like cyber security, robotics.
Hostel Facilities :
Giet have 14 hostels. A big mess for eating areas. Menu of our mess changes daily. Food quality is good. Registration process for hostel is done at the time of admission. Those who want to take rented room or PG, for them rooms are easy level near the college premises.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Course Curriculum is well structured ,in first year, evry branch subjects are mostly common and from second year onwards they taught branch specific subjects. Faculties are highly educated and they are also clear their engineering from best colleges

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
