- I like my college very much as it is 164 acres in size and having all the important things a college needs.
- Faculty are also good here, some of them taught really well and some them are ok ok. But overall you will be manage to handle this burded.
- There is no restrictions for Boys and Girls in campus , all students can hang out anywhere in the campus.
Dislikes
- As i mentioned above i do not like the reservation criteria of DTU which is having like 85% reservations which is too much.
- I do not like the condition of hostels they provide in first year as they are not that good, but from second year hostles are top notch.
Remarks :
The most important reason that made me to choose this college is DELHI city, other than DTU provides very good opportunities in every field, placements stats are much better than most of NITs and IITs and its Nirf ranking is 27 currently. DTU provides very good sport facilities compared to other college. Now if one of most bad aspect of DTU is its reservation for Delhi students that is 85% reservation for home state which create huge difference in the same class between delhi students and outside delhi students other than this i do not find any thing bad about DTU. Admission process is through JEE mains after that you have to register yourself for JAC counselling after you got seat you have to visit college for document verification. After that just pay the college fee and enjoy college life.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I wanted to choose software engineering but unfortunately i was not able that to get that and have to chooose electronics and communication engineering which is also a top branch at DTU and I can now see very bright future in Electronics and Communication Engineering as semi conductor industry going at boom in 2027 which is 1 year before my graduation to be completed. Most of the Faculties of DTU are top notch, like mostly are PHD qualified and for lab DTU have 2-3 teacher which includes 1 qualified teacher and 2 helper which are doing phd currently in DTU. Teacher method is simple and like other colleges, some of teacher uses projector and taught us by using ppt and some of them teach directly on white board. There will be two major exams(mid term & end term) in semester with some unit tests too. Difficulty level is mixed like average+ tough+ easy.
Internships Opportunities :
No, as i told my 1 semester just got completed and i have not done any intern yet so i won't be able to say on this question but as much as i know there is alot of opportunities here in DTU because of College being capital city of Country.
Placement Experience :
DTU has the best placement scenerio which is like top IITs in INDIA. DTU has its own placement cell in which alot of companies came to choose deserving students. You will be officially allowed to seat for interview for an intern after the end of 2nd year. My plan is persue MBA after doing btech not interested to take after graduation but will try to do as much as intern possible before my graduation ends. As of now I am in 1st year so i can only tell this.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
First year fee is 236000Rs per year, and will increase around 15k per year. Total college fees includes 155000 as tutiton fee, student welfare fee as 20000, 36000 for facilities and service charges, 10000 for ews section fund, 15000 as examination fee, and lastly 700 for dtu medical facilities. Which make the total of 236700Rs. However college provide one scholarship named as DTU scholarship which had a long process first you we have to fill a long application form then there will be offline student and parents meeting after that they will reveal the final list, more or less it will take around 1 year. They will give scholarship in 3 category- a) 100% fee waiver which includes hostel+tution fee (b) 100% tution fee only (c) 50% of tution fee Other than this there more government and private scholarships for which you can apply.
Campus Life :
Campus life at DTU is best among top colleges in INDIA. In DTU there will be alot of fest which includes (1) ENGIFEST- North India's Largest Fest (2) YUVAAN- INDIA largest literature and Film festival fest (3)E-Summit- Entrepreneurship fest in which top influencers around the INDIA came to DTU (4)Abhivyakti- Art Fest (5) Sanedo- Garba Fest (6) Aarambh- Fresher's fest (7) Uphaar- Diwali Mela (8) Arena- Sports Fest Ig, DTU have the largest library which i had ever witnessed which had 3 floors and having all the books for each branch arranged in proper and other than that there book related to fictions and all. Class room and Labs having all the top things which is required by any top colleges. Sport facilities are top notch having a big sport complex in which there is ground for almost every sport indoor+outdoor, also gym too. Dtu organise sports fest too as mentioned above in which teams all top colleges across INDIA come. DTU have socities on each every thing you can ever think about.
Hostel Facilities :
There are 11 boys hostels and 3 girls hostels in DTU. Hostel price non AC is 52000Rs Hostel Price AC is 72000Rs Mess fee is same for all 34800Rs Hostel food is average but not that bad too, menu is decided by students. Registration process is like form which will be released you will get to know and you have to fill it and wait for allotment. After that just pay the fee and shift yourself, there will be some documents which will be required like all payment reciepts, adhar card photpcopy, 2-3 passport size photo and some affidavit , thats it. No i live in hostel so can not comment on that.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college

Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
