There were no tests based, I chose this college because it was rated good for my course. The admission was based on merit. The good aspects of my college would be the social life, as the college really encourages the students to participate in the extracurricular activities as much as possible, making the social life very nice.
The course and curriculum is fine, sometimes the faculty is not the greatest in terms of management but it's doable. The teachers are nice and they teach very well, they are very approachable for anything, and they are very friendly. This course was something that I was very keen on learning, this was something i was very interested in since the 10th grade, hence I chose this course. The exams were timely, in the sense they happened when exams usually happen in the city. The difficulty level is moderate, someone who has studied would find it confusing but not hard, and it would be hard for someone who has not studied anything.
I have opted for internships but not through college. Since I don't know if the college offers any internship which is why I have done internships out of the the college. The teachers will suggest you a few places, but I don't think the college in itself offers anything like that
I don't think our program has placements. As I have not seen the teachers talk about any of the placements for our batch in our department. But I have seen people from other departments get together ye interviews done because of placements. The salary package shared below is that of bmm students
For third year we had to pay 23,950 in general quota, i don't know the fee structure of the Christian or the backward quota. The tuition fee being 15,750. The rest include libarary fee, exam fee, gymkhana fee, a trip fee that's included. A number of facilities.
We have a lot of fests in our college and they are all fun. The college encourages it's students to be a part of extracurricular activities, whether it be sports or fests. There are a lot of books that are available in the library that you would need for let's say your research paper and issuing these books is also easy. There are a lot of clubs run by the students and the faculty. There is a club called mindsight which is run by the students from the psychology department and they call in people to give lectures and organize fun activities for people in and out the department.
The food quality is not the very best but it's also doeable. I have never stayed at the hostel but the registration process is pretty easy, while filling the admission form you just have to fill another form for the hostel services.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
