- Teachers - The teachers of our course were very nice and well behaved. They used to use different methods of teaching and they were easy to communicate with. Our teachers helped us in studies as well as different works besides studies also. Overall they were all very kind and supportive.
- Library- The library of college have every book which is needed by students for different courses and the best thing is that we can issue a book for one month . There is a place where students can sit and do there work without any distractions.
- Ground- The ground is so big . Students can sit there and study in sunlight during winters . Besides that we can play there too 😂.
Dislikes
- Whenever you have any office work you have to go there again and again . Like they don’t do it in one time you have to visit the office multiple times.
- AC’s in classrooms don’t work properly so it is a bit difficult in summers .
Remarks :
As we all know every college coming under delhi university is considered good and i have heard from many people and online also that svc has a really good faculty for science courses. I didn’t not give any entrance test because at our time admissions were taken based on students class 12th grades but now you have to appear in cuet test based on its score you will get admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose physics honors because of my interest and teachers there made the learning really enjoyable and easy. We used to have exams two times a semester. The course syllabus was not too difficult or easy also exams were of moderate level . All the professors were very helpful and knowledgeable.
Internships Opportunities :
90+ companies offers placement opportunities to students of our college and conduct their recruitment process in offline or online mode. Average salary package stands at 5lpa and highest goes to 20 to 25lpa.
Placement Experience :
There were no placements for our courses . But students from other courses got placed .i don’t know much about placement cell but there is one . Which is run by students. Many messages regarding placements used to float in our WhatsApp groups.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees for my course is not too much, everyone can afford it . It increases slightly with every year and we have to pay exam fees also. There is no lab fees or library fees . Different between fees for different categories is also very slight .
Campus Life :
Campus is good although the buildings are little old. We have a big sports ground . Time to time cultural events and fest were organized. And there are different societies like music society, dance society, arts society etc so students can join them according to their interests.
Hostel Facilities :
I didn’t get an hostel but there are different hostels for boys and girls and the mess food is also good. My friend used to live in hostel so as much as i know from her there rooms were good and hostels were neat and clean .

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
