- Placement is good till EE branch a worth it decision to opt this college and even a guy can quit core or non-tech branches of IIT for opting CS related branches of this college , Some faculty are extraordinary in their subjects
Dislikes
- Attendance criteria and the level of pressure given by this college which make student life very hectic in NSUT . Infrastructure is not so good having large campus area 145+ acres of land but no proper utilization of land . Campus life is good and all market are near to college even Vegas mall is also near to college but due to heavy crowd heavy traffic is common
Remarks :
Most influent factor was i was getting biotech in IIT and CSAI in NSUT as i scored 99.1387381 percentile in jee mains 2022 and an AIR of 7870 in mains No direct admission in BTech you can get admission in BBA through CUET or either you can join MTech through GATE and can also continue Phd from here I am a btech student so i do not need these criteria for admission i was selected through jee mains
Course Curriculum Overview :
As this sector is in current demand and create a high paying professions that's why i opt for this course Mostly Professors are not so much qualified , some are very high qualified that comes under 2% scientist category in world and PHD students also take our classes who have not so much experience and knowledge Exam is a considered as a continous evaluation for this college 2 class test then mid-sem and end-sem and projects with deadlines creates a hectic schedule and difficulty level i will give 9/10 Teachers set here a very hard level of paper that will never expected by any outer student
Internships Opportunities :
No i have no internship currently in my hand as i was working on my own startup project so i didn't sit in interns but will sure sit on placements but more than 120+ students recieved interns with hoghst intern stipend 247000 ctc from google and lowest 40000 per month from Expedia
Placement Experience :
If you are a CSE student then 7+ you can grab an offer from companies in on campus placement but 7.5+ is a safer side to keep yourself for a better edge but if you are in non-tech department it totally depends on you overall we can windup that having 7.5+ in other branch and 7+ in tech department i a barrier gate for placements till electrical department below that almost no placement In 2025 intern session 45 companies visit and hire 120+ students highest intern was from google 247000 per month ctc and lowest was Expedia 40000 per month and 2025 placement more than 350+ companies visit in campus and 14lpa is the average package considering till electrical engineering Percentage placement depends on branch CSAI-74% , CSE-67% , IT - 60% , MAC-55% , ECE 60% , EE-50% My plan is to get a good placement atleast 20lpa .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
1st year :- 219000 2nd year :- 229000 3rd year :- 240000 4th year :- 250000 Those who belongs to lower category they have various schemes for refunding of fees specially like PMS , NSP also EWS students have FWS schemes and Orphan students recieve scholarship and We have a Merit based scholarship also for top 5% branch wise candidates in academics
Campus Life :
MOKSHA is our annual fest which comes in March and every year its a inter-college fest , Rezo is our intra-college fest in October Library is full equipped on can get free books from library for 6 months slot or 15 days slot NSUT is not so much focus on sports and extracurricular activities mainly students who came here have a main focus in intern or placements Yes we have NSUTx run by Dev-comm society of NSUT , TnP websites manages by our students , NSUT confession pages run by students and many more and we have many societies for active participation of students
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted hostel but i know the process and mess . Mess are not so good but its ok to survive and work on your course . But the infrastructure is bad specially boys hostel . Foe applying in hostel one have to wait for Forms that is circulated by hostels each hostel are independent to acquire students and mess best one is Ramanujan hostel of boys in terms of mess food

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
