I choose this course as my elder brother was already studying in Jamia only he suggested me to apply for the bsc course i natively live in gujrat and hence I moved to Delhi for my studies. I think it is one of the best decision of my life as I am enjoying here
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course as science was my favourite subject in early classes and I always wanted to explore more in this field the teachers here are highly qualified and experienced which help the new students to get easily moulded in there respective teaching styles
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The early fees here is approximate 9000 which is very value for money as the quality of education offered here. There are numerous forms of scholarship for the students which they can fill can get the scholarship accordingly
Campus Life :
The campus here is very huge there are two main library in my gate no 7 from which we can issue the books for very reasonable price. Talking about the sports there is a seperate complex built specially for the extracurricular activities.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
