The admission process was more or less smooth, I got the hostel alloted the day I arrived from my home. I chose this because of the exposure I can get here in the heart of the country. And I have been right in my decision till now, being with people at my own level helps ensure that you don't slack off and keep pushing new possibilities.
Academics and Course are good enough, course curriculum is good as well. The university is revising it's academics to ensure proper industry level preparation of graduates. Some particular Faculties might be a bit irritating sometimes, otherwise they are chill.
Since I am in the first year I have not yet opted an internship yet. But from all that I observe, in campus internships are more or less based on a luck factor. For example in the past Microsoft came for diversity hing and mostly hired girls so it developed an image for being men hater. And this year Microsoft came and hired all men.
Placements and job opportunities are enough, the one thing I got to know from listening to different perspectives is that it's never a job issue, it's a skill issue. I never have met a person who said that he worked hard and not gottena job. I had meta senior who started DSA in third year and eventually got Sde role in Amazon.
The tuition fees for first year is 236000 and increases every year in the three upcoming years. For the total fees along with hostels and mess, it reaches around 325000 per year. There are different types of charges like medical assistance, technical equipment, for ews quota, etc. Scholarship is given by the college on base of need to families with family income less than 5lakh. Other private scholarships are available for merit cum needs.
Life is good in the campus. As hostellers we can roam around the college all day, can try out different sports, meet with diverse people from around the country, get to discuss ideas with different perspectives. Seniors are chill and supportive. Overall it's a good experience.
Hostel is just liveable, mess food is just good enough but can't be compared to the comfort you get in home. Hostel application take solace online and is a smooth process for the most part, you have to give some affidavits before you get the keys to your room.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
