Choosing PCCoE,Akurdi is a decision driven by its stellar academic excellence, industry oriented programs, and holistic development opportunities.PCCOE stands out as a leading Engineering institution in Pune offering a blend of quality education and career focused training. Here are the factors which make Pccoe as an ideal choice: Academic Excellence Outstanding placements Stae-of-the-art Infrastructure(It is amazing and mind refreshing) Holistic Development Faculty expertise.
I am pursuing Entc Engineering in my First year at this college. As PCCOE is an Autonomous institute it has a freedom to design its own syllabus according to the industry needs and recent and future technologies. So talking about the curriculum we have our branch oriented subjects in first year itself unlike of other colleges having their first year common and having subjects which are'nt even relate to the field. So that is the plus point of our college.Sowe are one step ahead. All the faculty members are highly qualified in their particular field and are of a very helping nature. They give a proper guidance about the examinations and real world situations. And also clear our doubts as many times we ask.
The placement status in our college is quite good.the eligibility criterion is minimum 7.5 CGPA in your academics and skills(hard as well as soft) TOP recruiters:TCS,Infosys,Capgemini,Cognizant offers made: 1200+ in 2024 highest package: 62LPA (inr) AVERGAGE package : 7 LPA placements percentage : 80-90% future plans: MS in entc or will opt a good paying job
What I think is PCCOE is one of the best engineering colleges in Pune in all terms. Coming to the affordability and the scholarship part, the college is worth it paying the fees as they deliver the best of the best in their teaching ,academics, guidance, Laboratories and many more things which are carried out in college are phenomenal. The college also provides scholarships to economically weaker section and obc, sc,st category, etc students by offering government (Post matric scholarships,Rajarshi Chatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan shulkh Shishyarutti Yojana(EBC),etc) and non-goverment scholarships (RMD Foundation Scholarship rewards student based on merit,Lila Poonawala Foundation Scholarship for academically outstanding and financially deserving girls, IOCL Merit Scheme offers monthly stipends based on qualifications.
Life in the campus is amazing with all the friends, faculties and great infrastructure. Social life is on our approaching and communicating skills I think ,because we have to approach every one let it be our seniors or our batchmates. fests are going to be conducted in month of January and march (fests such as FESSA,SWARTARANG, SPECTRUM) which make s our connections and our confidence more strong. We have a huge library with tremendous book collection of almost each and every field. And it is easy to borrow books from library just by lending them our library cards we can borrow books. Sports clubs are there such as cricket, football, badminton ,etc. there are many social media and whatsapp groups run by our students to convey any sort of information about the vents going on in our campus and clubs such as TEAM maverik,KRATOS,ANANTAM,AUTOMATONS,ART circle, etc are present.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
