I chose the college as it is the oldest engineering college in odisha . It is highly prestigious institution which also has collaboration with the Indian space research organisation. The institute can be selected by ojee or jee main exams. You can choose the college by ojee counselling. It has four rounds and the college which you lock during counselling would be finalised. The cut off of the institute is low , you can get the college easily ( mechanical engineering) at the rank of 3 lakh.
I have choose the course on the basis o f my interest. The professors of the college is very highly educated. The have pursued their post graduation and doctor of philosophy from highly prestigious colleges like Iit and Nit. Their teaching method is average as the faculties are older in age. There are two semesters in a year and the difficulty level is very easy.
No as I am in the first year I have not applied for any internships but the students in the second and third year can apply for the internship as it is necessary to complete 2 internships. Companies such as Deloitte, Infosys, Amazon , Wipro are usual companies which give stipend to the students.
The placement of the college is very good for the core branches. The placements and job opportunities for the software branches is not that good in the college. All the students who secured greater than 6 cgpa are eligible to sit in the placement. The higher and average package of the year 2023 is 43 lakh and 6 lakh respectively. Last year 95 percent students placed from the mechanical branch. I have decided to prepare gate exam after the degree. Companies such as Deloitte, Infosys, Amazon, Wipro are usual companies which give stipend to the students.
Registration fee - 10000 Tution fee -30000 Development charge - 15000 Mess charge- 33000 Tution fee - 41000( NTFW) , 29000( TFW) Also self sustaining coarse is present which is given in higher price. The fee is not discriminate according to the caste. Yes some scholarship also present for the financing burden student. Students also given the state scholarship.
The campus is very big and present in nature, also the longest dam in the world near the college. Yes a central library also present in the institute where you can issue all the books of your semester. Yes various clubs also present in the institute such as robotics club, aerospace club, Dance club etc. Also some clubs also run by students themselves.
The hostel mess is very good where you can get quality and tasty food for 4 times in a day e.g. morning breakfast , dinner, snacks, lunch. You can choose the college during the online registration process. The hostel fee is very affordable.you can also get a p.g near the institute which is costlier than the hostels where you would get food only two times in ady.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement
There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.
for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.
It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.
Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.
Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .
The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.
Course Curriculum is well structured ,in first year, evry branch subjects are mostly common and from second year onwards they taught branch specific subjects. Faculties are highly educated and they are also clear their engineering from best colleges
Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
