- The best part of our college is its placement rate which is more than another state government engineering colleges.
- Its infrastructure which has a state of the art infrastructure.
Dislikes
- Although it has a good placement rate but it doesn't have a such type of placement rate that of IIT and NIT.
- Infrastructure work can be improved more.
Remarks :
It is the oldest engineering college in odisha. By taking admission in this college you will get a image of studying in oldest Engineering college of Odisha.And then it has also had a good placement rate at which is almost higher than other engineering colleges in odisha.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Majority of faculty members in a college are PhD holders and have a great experience in their teaching field.Some teacher are also contractual basis but are also well experience in their teaching field. Exams are semester wise and usually four exams held in a year.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship are also provided by our college and many private firms are also collaborated with our college for giving necessary skills to the student by the course from the first year of their college onwards.
Placement Experience :
Average placement rate of our college is 6 lakhs per annum and highest package offered in campus is 25 lpa and off campus is 48 lpa and lowest package of our college is 2.8 lpa. Internships opportunities are also provided by our college.many private firms are also collaborated with our college to provide necessary skills to the students from the first year of their college onwards.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Total tution fee of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology,Burla is 41000 rupees For TFW( Tution fees waivers)is 31000 rupees There are many scholarships provided to the students by our college such that there are private and government aided scholarships eligible students can get the benefits of this scholarships.
Campus Life :
Some of our college fests are samavesh,e-summit and vasant.Samvesh is our technical fest and vasant is our cultural fests and e-summit is a fests for supporting startups culture and entrepreneurship.
Hostel Facilities :
Accommodation facilities are also provided by our college through different hostels. Hostel fee is 49,000 rupees yearly. Mess food is hygienic and are provided four times per day. All hostel room are triple occupancy and basic facilities such as washing machine and Aquaguard etc are provided.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Course Curriculum is well structured ,in first year, evry branch subjects are mostly common and from second year onwards they taught branch specific subjects. Faculties are highly educated and they are also clear their engineering from best colleges

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
