College which is like as school
Likes
- Mainly many faculty were much supportive but some are not so good it was upon the student that how he makes a relationship with the teacher by obeying the commands
- Campus life is good but there is a problem arisen due to the attendance criteria which makes its more alike school not a college.
Dislikes
- Attendance criteria and some teacher dont know how to teach the students although they have so much of arrogance
- I dislike college system that without any id you will be not allowed to get into the college
Remarks :
As per me Chandigarh is well developed city and the college in it with good reputation is that where I am currently studying now.As per the senior and alumini the package of this college is good so this is the major factor that i choose to get in this college.No I don't have to go from any of the phases like gd, interview or any written test simply i got admission in it.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is mainly similar to any other engineering college.It follow punjab technical University ciriculam as it is affiliated to that so they follow them.In first 2 year mainly we have to study many subjects which was related to different engineering field.
Internships Opportunities :
No i have only doned only one internship which was free of salary the college have given that to me as in summer that was needed to do something like that so that a student will avail to learn something new so that they can utilise their time but according to me there is no benefit of that internship to me.
Placement Experience :
According to me as per that in it sector there is currently less numbers of job reason that every one has opted for computer science and which makes difficult to get placement.As per my knowledge company is coming in college but take only few student as there is less vacancy in companies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For per sem the fees is 47500 and the annual fees will be 95000.But it will always cost more than it as many additional charges college put on student like some of the online app which is used for attendance like erp system and further we have to pay for many events which held in college .
Campus Life :
The campus is good enough according to me as there is all things like big ground, canteen of different or popular brand.There is a problem that there we not have good social life as we have to fulfill our criteria of 75%.which puts a very big burden in students Life.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is not good as there we have to live as a set of four or three people which makes it conjusted for the people to live and there is also a major problem which was the mess food whose quality was so bad at the starting when new admission comes they give nice food for only 1-2 months but after that they start giving bad food

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
