Remarks :
The admission was completely merit based and category based.I’m from general category so cut offs were released according to your 12th board exam result. So once you score good in 12th it’s a easy process without any further rounds.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course coordinate with my future aspirations.The faculty there is well qualified and educated.Both board and projector is used for teaching.The exams were conducted every 6months,each semester and assignments were also made .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I paid fee of 21000 every year there were hardly any increments. Exam fee was charged separately every semester .There were no reductions in the fee for anyone.Though sometimes scholarships were provided.
Campus Life :
The college campus has beautiful and serene vibes full of greenery.The classsrooms are aided with projectors.The college library is also huge with many books and a quiet environment.There are many college societies you can choose according to your interest
Hostel Facilities :
Gargi doesn’t provide hostel facilities but has a very functional canteen which provides fresh and healthy food at a very reasonable rate .There are many food options .There are plenty of pgs and hostel available near the college

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
