The college is ranked one of the best colleges in India especially for women. We had to sit for the CUET exams and no other GD/PI rounds were required. For my course one has to score at least 97 percentile to be eligible for admission.
The course curriculum focuses on holistic development with both qualitative and quantitative aspects. Classes are both practical and theoretical with teachers guiding through the entire process. Exams are held every end of the semester in a timely manner.
There are many internship opportunities coming up every week. We have both strategic profit based roles and social impact roles for the students. Students can do internships alongside their academic life.
The placement committee is very active in providing both internship and placement opportunities. We have the big 4 companies visiting our college every year and other reputed companies also. A good number of students gets placed every year.
Total fees is around 18000 which has increased over the past years. We have to also pay examination fees every end of the semester to be eligible to sit for the exams. Students from EWS quota have scholarship benefits also.
The college has multiple clubs and societies one can be a part or such as consulting, marketing, dance, music etc that students can join ti enjoy extra-curricular activities besides academics. These societies also organise events and fests.
Gargi has a well running canteen. It also has nescafe and mother dairy on campus that provides refreshments all day long to the students. The local area around is also very safe and connected to other parts of the city.

IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
