I heard alot about delhi University when I was in college i must say it worth the hype the faculties are so so gud and infrastructure is also okayish . Yeah I did give a written test (cute UG) for admission in Delhi University and got gargi college
As I already mentioned the faculties are so so good (atleast for my course which is botany hons.) and teaching methods are omg slay and they make sure everyone is understanding the topics and clears everyone's doubts
As for now I haven't done any intership as I have many things side by to do so shortage of time But this summer break I am thinking to do one but our placement cell brings best possible opputyfor students
The placement cell is very very hardworking and always keep trying to uk bring the best in campus for students Their are so many internship recruitment and other opportunities for beginners. Placement is little difficult to get from campus but placement cell is so nice they will help you through out your journey and do the best for you . After completing my course as I am in botany department i want to purse masters and maybe research (our faculties and college give us research paper to do and many seminar and programs to build our knowledge about this field)
The fees structure of whole delhi University is veryyy nice and for my course which is botany hons. The yearly fees is 16000 which is very affordable and decent tution fee for undergraduation courses and such a good college (gargi college)
Social life is alsoo nice in campus as u get to connect with so many people and there are so many clubs (dance, singing, sports, theatre etc) for ur intrest and all are so good I am in sports department and the coach, the teammates all are very supportive and helpful(must join the society of your interest)
As for now our college does not have any hostel But still like I have to make it 200 minimum words so the staff I mean the canteen staff the watchmen uncle are so sweetheart coded. They always have smile on their faces while will talk to youjj
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
