Likes
- I like the infrastructure of our college a lot. It has one of the best auditorium which can occupy upto 700 people at a time. The arch is one of the distant feature of my college and we have 4 buildings in our college with a double storey library.
- Faculty of my college are highly educated and they are very helpful and polite and always ready to help you .
Dislikes
- Campus Life is something I miss because it is a girls college so someone from co-ed would find it difficult and boring .
- Locality of my college is also something that I don't as it is situated in a posh locality where you wouldn't find many people.
Remarks :
This is the most renowned University for Commerce in India so that is the reason why I opted for this college. The college is a decent college but not worth the hype you see and hear but if you want exposure and college life you may go for it. You have to give CUET-Ug to get into this University but the cut-off are really high for general category and for B.Com and BA courses so, you have to prepare well. In order to prepare for it one may go through your 12th NCERT syllabus and then you can easily do good in the exams.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As I was a Commerce student so B.Com was a easy and more demanded course for me . The faculty of my college are highly talented and they have immense knowledge and experience and all the professors have PhD degree and the teaching method is technology based and modern . We usually have examinations in the month of December and May and the examination is not so difficult, one could easily pass it with basic knowledge.
Internships Opportunities :
My college provide a wide range of intership opportunities for students from NGOs to multinational companies. I have done a few internships. Careers360 was one of them where I had to generate reviews and I have been assigned the role of Campus Ambassador. The task was to generate college reviews from your connections and collegeaues.
Placement Experience :
There is no such eligibility criteria for placement just one should be passed on all the subjects. KPMG, Deloitte, Swiggy, PWC , etc provide placement offers in our college and nearly 300 students get placed every year. Highest package was 23 LPA for the year 2023 and average package ranges between 4-5 LPA. Mostly commerce students get placed.I plan to go for further studies after my graduation.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
You have to pay annual college fee and then you have to pay for department fee which may range upto 2000 and every semester you have to pay for examinations fee. Scholarships are provided EWS, SC, ST and OBC students and to some scholars. Very rarely any scholarship is provided to general category students.
Campus Life :
Reverie is the annual fest of our college conducted in the month of January and Zistatva is conducted a week before Diwali . We have lots of books in our library which easy assess to students and we have fully equipped classrooms with smart boards and projectors. We have basketball, badminton and volleyball court with a big cricket ground. Our college have its own page on Instagram and a website on Google.
Hostel Facilities :
No our college don't have hostel facility. We can get pg nearby our college in South Extension or Neeti Bagh were mostly girls of our college live and the average price of a pg is around 15K . I live in Satya Niketan which is 11 km aways from my college with my sister in a pg .

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college

Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
