I choose this college because there are very less number of colleges in Delhi University which provides B.Sc (Hons.) Statistics course and Ramanujan College is among top colleges which provides quality education in this course.
This course is very new in india and has good opportunities in india as well as in foreign. Very less students know about this cours, slowly it's becoming famous. This course opens many gates for the students in the field of studying and analysing data.
No I have not opted for any internships right now as I was busy with exams but will be opting soon as I'm free right now. Our college offers not much internships but helps to get any internships outside the college.
Placements are average in our college and depends on the year. Some visited recruiters are WIPRO and Infosys. Highest package was 20 lpa and average is 8-9 lpa. My plan after getting the degree is to pursue Masters in the same course
Per year fees is Rs. 25000 and for the whole course which B.Sc (Hons) Statistics is Rs. 75000. Scholarships are not that much available in our college, but help is provided to the students of needed in any case.
Our college conducts annual fest in February or March name Josh. Availability of books is good in our library almost all books are available for students. There are many sports in our college like cricket, football, badminton and many more. There are many clubs for students to join like for women development, dance, entrepreneurship and many more.
No Hostel, because I live in delhi and my college is not so far I have transports available to go. Students who are from outside delhi they have bought PGs for themselves to live nearby college and for food they are provided in PGs only.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
