There were no any Interviews, admission in B.Tech is purely based on JEE Mains score. The factor that I considered at the time of taking admission in DTU was: excellent college and campus life, infrastructure, placements, extra-curriculars, fests and obviously the environment over here. Like, you will definitely love the college life here, if you have good friends.
The course curriculum is very up-to-date for software engineering branch, and for other branches also, its not that old. They always have some modifications in the courses and subjects. And we also get the option to choose our subjects from 3rd year of college, which is a very good thing both for academics and career. The faculties are quite supportive and helpful, except few. Some are highly approachable and some are not that easily approachable. But, you will get help, in case you need it.
Yes, I got an internship from campus placements only. As, I am doing b.tech in CS, I got the tech-role(Software Developer Intern). Work culture was quite good, and you also get a lot of experience in internship too.
Placement season is going good, its recession time and still the placement season is going well. Almost 60% students are placed. The highest package is offered by Atlassian (82lpa) and least went till 4-5lpa. But, on an average it would be around 12-13lpa, which is good considering recession time. And, the companies that visited the campus were also good including Google, microsoft, Apple, amazon, BNY Mellon, Bain, PWC, RBS, Ebullient Securities, Fast Retailing, McKinsey, Ion group, and many more, which offered really great packages. Every company has their own eligibility criteria. But, CGPA is an important factor. If you maintain decent CGPA and some very good achievements, you will be placed for sure.
first year - 2,00,000 Second year - 2,06,000 Third year - 2,19,000 Forth year - 2,36,000 This is the fee structure for every B.Tech student who took admission in DTU in year 2021-2025. And every year the fee increases around 5%. There is no any extra admission fee, or any other academic fee. Additionally, we have many scholarship opportunities based on categories, financial background and merit for students. Students can avail these benefits.
Campus Life is really amazing in DTU, and I guess everyone will say that. Whether its about the food outlets, the nature and greenery, the fests or the societies, each and everything is so amazing, you will not be missing the IITs for these things. We have a lot of food outlets in DTU, with a variety of options, So many favourite spots to chill with our friends too. And a lot more things. Also, you can explore a number of domains through our societies. So, college life at its best ! I loved college life these 4 years.
Yes, I had opted for hostel. And it was the best choice for me I guess. You will definitely enjoy more being in hostel than in PG, but also, you have to deal with the mess food, which isn't that good. Applying for hostels is easy, as you can do it simply by online registration in the beginning of your semester. Hostel fee is Rs. 72000 per year. And its allotted on a preference basis.

IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
