Likes
- There is nothing to like about this college rather than placement opportunities.
- As I have told previously faculties are not good some are good but most of them just come to class for sitting and deducting marks in practical files and assignments.
Dislikes
- There is nothing to be liked about this college whether it's management faculty or any other things rather than placement opportunities.
- Faculties of this college don't know how to teach they just come and study ppt and go and deduct your marks in practical files and assignments.
Remarks :
There are no such bit factors which made to choose this college it was the time post Covid there are souch ads and banners of this college going on in tv and highways which claims to give you 100% placement so I have decided to come here,one more reason to join this college I was trying to get government college but I failed to get one so I joined this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The management of this college is not that much good, teachers don't know how to teach they just come to college to study ppt and go or they will give you one or 2 question and pass all 50 mins like this. They have added the course which are not even of any use to engineering student they are teaching us ebanking and commerce, environmental studies what is the use of these types of subjects. Rather wasting our time on these subjects they should teach us any good programming language or leave us early so that we can focus on our upcoming placements.
Internships Opportunities :
No I haven't opted any internship till now but one thing if you get one college will not give you noc to do internship in 5th and 6th sem after that you can do internship. In some cases like if you are getting stipend like 20000 or 30000 then they will allow you to do internship otherwise you are not allowed to do internship in 5th and 6th sem basically in 3rd year.
Placement Experience :
Yes our college provides us placement opportunities as companies have started coming for us 2026 batch so yes opportunities are provided by college it's up to you that you are able to crack the interview and get the job or you failed to do so. But once you placed in any company you cannot apply for other complanies as college faculties wants to give chances to other students also.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
We have to pay 182000 per year for our tuition fees, There is one scholarship exam while taking admission in the university which is totally online mode but you have to maintain 7.5cgpa to maintain your scholarship if you fail to do so your scholarship will get rejected. Besides this you have to pay 10000 for tpp joining through which you will get to sit in placement drives if you not pay 10000 you will not get to sit in any placement drive so in simple words if you want placement you have to pay 10000.
Campus Life :
Campus life is so boring our classes are from 9:30 am to 4:30pm we got exhausted so much how can anyone enjoy campus life after this. Infrastructure of D block is good but other blocks are not that much good.
Hostel Facilities :
While taking admission I have asked them to allot me a Hostel room but they refused by saying rooms are not available so I am staying in flat with my friends. I ask my friends about how's the food of Hostel mess they told me it is decent, rooms are also decent.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
