Hansraj College comes within the delhi university so to get admission in the delhi university college ones need to give the cuet exam which is the common university entrance test. And according to the marks received the student gets the college based on the preference.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college has a good number of teachers. The teachers are well educated and have a PhD degree also they conduct various presentations and group discussions so as to engage the students in the class.
Placement Experience :
The college has a great placement for bachelor of commerce and economics honours. The college even has a placement cell which works quite well. And provides with various placement opportunities to the students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The annual fees to be paid by the students in the college is around 28000 it differs from different caste. The lowest fees is paid by the ST and SC category. Since it is a government college so studying here is reasonable.
Campus Life :
The campus life is quite happening as the college has many societies which conducts various events. The college itself has its biggest fest known as the confluence. So the hansraj College provides a healthy and anti ragging platform.
Hostel Facilities :
No I had not applied for the hostel. But there are different hostels for boys and girls. The infrastructure is good enough. But only thing is that the girls need to go to the boys hostel for having there mess food.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
