- College architecture is very well made.Well centralised buildings and facilities.
- Fest and events here are very nice.Completely a different vibe when in fest.
Dislikes
- No rickshaw or yulus are there for travelling. It take a lot of time to move from one class to other.
- Location of this college is among factories. Very polluted and filthy area
Remarks :
Pros: 1)Reputed and one of the top engineering college. 2)Placements data released was very good.Companies like Microsoft,Samsung,Tcs come every year. 3)Excellent Network,late Sushant Singh Rajput was in sme college. 4)Best college for extra curriculars as there is society for every field we can think of. 5)Something is always happening in dtu in name of fests and events Cons: 1)Location:A factory like place polluted not good atmosphere. 2)Batch size: A lot of students are placed in a single batch(majority students are male) 3)Increasing fees:A lot of increment in fees is scene 4)Hostel and mess are fine not as good.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course and Syllabus: As visible growth in AI and interest in mathematics made me choose Btech in maths and computing. First sem syllabus is same for almost all branches thus might feel outdated as we are made to study physics, graphics,electrical but things get changed in second sem once course related subject come. Faculty: Overall faculty is good,Maths faculty is best.Many professor here are graduated from iit. Term Exam: Mid term :25/20 marks End Term:40/50 marks Remaining are of internals which include attendence,labs,assignments and cws(class work sessionals) They are pretty easy.All question come from assignments only
Placement Experience :
Some companies set mark for cgpa. Like only above 8 are allowed to sit in placement while some take test. Some are open to every branch but some are branch specific. Microsoft,Adobe Tcs ,Samsung visit here every year. Last year(2024): Students placed:2043 Companies Visited: around 350

Sports/Literary Fest:ARENA/YUVAAN Date:Septemeber-October Techest:INVICTUS Date:February Cultural Fest:ENGIFEST DATE:February-March A lot event happen time to time in college.No month get wasted Library:You can find any book you want. Sports Ground: Huge sports ground.Enough space to place cricket,football,volleyball at same time.Also have indoor area for table tennis and badminton. Societies and clubs: A lot of societies for everything.
Hostel Facilities :
Canteens: A lot of canteens are there in dtu.Some are available all night,Dominoes is there in dtu. Diversed menu and we can find indian chinese and south indian food easily. PG/Rooms: Pgs and rooms are available just opposite to dtu or nearby in radius o 100m

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
