The main factors that made me choose Jamia Millia Islamia are, it's a central university, ranked 3rd in NIRF ranking this year, and has very highly qualified faculties. The good aspects of Jamia are that there no ragging policies, supportive seniors, motivating faculties most of them. The bad aspects are hectic and time-consuming official processes and non-cooperative HOD. To take admission in Jamia you should have cleared JEE MAINS and scored at least 92 percentiles and 75% in your class 12 or equivalent. There are no interview rounds.
I'm thrilled with the fluid mechanics and Jamia provides a highly qualified faculty of fluid mechanics in affordable budget. The faculties are at least PhD Holders, and some are out standing on their field of study contributing to India's Development projects, manufacturing sectors of world, in worlds top 2% scientist, and known international. There are 2 internal assessments and then a semester exam. The level of exams was moderate.
The Universiti itself does not provide any internship but the companies take students as an intern. KrishGRO for mechanical design, LEDBY for women only leader etc are the companies which offers mechanical role internships whereas other tech companies offer tech roles too like Accenture, Goldman Sachs, and siemens etc.

The food quality varies but overall, it's average. The menu is well designed and followed by the mess. To get hostel you have to fill the hostel form then according to different factors points were given to you. IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
