I got selected in JMI through PMSSS and there are also other selection process are there such as JEE MAINS,Jmi entrance exam and other scholarship opportunities. The factor I like about my college is ROI. Think about it you are giving 64k to your college for you engineering compared to other clgs that are charging 2 lakh per annum and you can get an avg package of 5.5 lpa . So yaa that was like a good point and also there are some professors that are well qualified and in the top researchers list. The bad aspect of my college is lack of fests and other cultural activities. Also I will say that canteen food is also not so good especially for vegetarian people. No GD/PI is conducted for the admission.
I am little bit interested about programming languages. So i thought let's explore this field and also I contact with som of the Passouts of this college for the review and after all the factors I got from them I finally decided to take the college. Talking about the faculty there are some professors that are well qualified and in top research scientist list . So we have 2 internal exams and 1 end sem exam (external) that are conducted with gap of 1.5 months. Difficulty level - moderate

Jmi does not organise large fests and even not large number of fests. During our first 2 years there are almost no fests due to corona but now there are some fests in JMI are doing crazy. But the number of cultural fests are les more are technical. Recent fests are Econium fest ,bit and bytes. Jamia central library is one of the best libraries in the delhi so the availability of books and journals in the library are not that problematic. JMI organise many sports activities where students of different departments can participate and showcase their skills. Sports included are cricket, football, table tennis and badminton. Some of the social groups/clubs run by students is Web 3 JMI.

But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
