- The campus life of the college is very beautiful as the world largest, Hirakud Dam present near the campus. The college campus are is also very big.
- The hostel and campus life is very good, some of the faculties are really supportive and follow the creative learning.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure is not well developed as the it is the oldest engineering of idiaha bi the city is not developed.
- The professors are very highly educated but they are not that supportive. The also not follow creative and innovative learning.
Remarks :
The college is very good if you are interested to study in core branches as the college is famous for its placements in core branches. Last year, there was 95% placement in mechanical branch. You can get the college by jee main Or through Ojee examination. The cut off is less, you can also get the college in very low marks. There are 4 rounds taking place during the counselling.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I was chosen the college due to my rank in jee mains , but I am also little intersted in the mechanical branch. The faculties are highly qualified, they have completed their post graduation and Phd from various IIT and NIT. There are 2 semesters in a year and 2 mid semesters. There are also class test, online and offline quiz taking place which are included during final evaluation of cgpa.
Internships Opportunities :
No, I have not opted for internships as the first year students cannot participate in the internship. If you are from software branch, you can easily get internship. There are various roles such as data analyst, coding, event management, video editing. There are also various projects during the internship.
Placement Experience :
The college is famous for its placement in core branches. If you are looking for a software branch having high placement you would not be that satisfied. Various companies such as Tata, infosys, Maruti Suzuki, Microsoft. The highest package was 43 lpa given to a ETC student by amazon and average package was 5 lakh last year. 95% students got placed. I have decided to prepare for Gate Exam as the average package if mechanical branch is only 3 lakh.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Registration fee during admission-10000 Tution fee-31040 Development fee-15000 The tution fee of (TFW) Students are lesser than the (NON TFW) students by 8000. There is no discrimination in fee in categories, all students have same fee belonging to any of the category. Yes, there are various scholarships are given to students by state government, some scholarshipa are also provided to students by college based on their academic record.
Campus Life :
There are various cultural, tech and sports fests are conducted in a academic year. Fests are conducted mostly in December and march. There is a central Library in the college where you can issue all the books of your academic. There is a fest called VASSaUnt and SaMaVesh and also sports fest called illumina. There are various clubs such as Robotics, emotica whiich you can join.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is very good in terms of its food and infrastructure facilities. The food quality is very good, the menu list is mind blowing for non vegetarian students. You can register in hostel during the online registration. The hostel is very affordable at this specifications. You can also chose PG, which is easily available near the college. But, pgs are not very affordable and the food quality is also not good.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Placement Experience :
Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
