- It has 2 canteens which are open all time
- It’s very big college, like in other private colleges there is gating that you won’t be able to go before 4 pm but here there is no issue of gating
Remarks :
Government college has more value in today’s time private colleges charge whole sum amount of money and provide less knowledge well if you got percentage then you must try to get admission in government colleges
Course Curriculum Overview :
It’s all good because it’s under PU and PU offers so many courses same followed by our SCD college, so if you want to gather more and more knowledge about courses go through the website once it has all the syllabus given
Internships Opportunities :
No I haven’t opted any internship but there are many internships available in the college like recently many seminars were conducted about the internships and I saw psychology workshop going in our college
Placement Experience :
Will get to know about it later, but according to the courses offered by the college we can easily compete for the exams or jobs and easily get placement also, and here there is freedom of time as compared to private colleges
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Admission fee and 1st semester fee I paid was 8900 rupees for 6 months and for next 6 months it is little bit less so it is pocket friendly according to fee and study, well it’s recommended to join the college for new students
Campus Life :
Everything good because there are many social clubs we can join, NSS NCC and many other sports and other curriculum activity are also there's library has variety of books ranging from old to new books
Hostel Facilities :
It’s so good, I don’t live in hostel but once I visited the hostel, girls hostel timings are 5PM, and for boys hostel it’s all day all night, due to hostels canteens are open full day, in a single room there are 3 beds and personal storage place

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
