- College looks good and big; infrastructure is old but strong, campus life is full of fun and friends there is no ragging at all . All students are busy in their life so no ragging
- All College students are helpful your seniors will provide notes from their previous classes.
Dislikes
- Teachers are strict and if you did not complete your practical file on time you will not receive good internal
- Infrastructure is good but old so it may feel poor.
Remarks :
I chose this college because this college is well known in Ludhiana City and it offers so many types of courses like BCA, BBA, and so many master's Courses. Admission takes place according to your subjects and marks in the 12th Class, There is no Interview, and a written test is held for admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I want to become a Computer Science Engineer so I Choose BCA here, every class has a projector in BCA classes but not in general course classes, the teachers are good at their subjects and teach well they are strict although, Your name will be cut off from the college if you are absent for a week without informing your teachers, Exams are easy but there is a major chance of getting back in subject even though you are good at studies, this is a govt college, so fee did not hike much. Yes, you can apply scholarship in the National Scholarship Portal and Dr. Ambedkar portal other important information will be provided by the college staff also. you can get a 100% scholarship.
Internships Opportunities :
There are internship opportunities in my college but I did a separate internship Off campus internship I got a certificate there but did not get a stipend the task was different they wanted to make a website for their business.
Placement Experience :
Yes, companies come to select candidates based on qualifications, and there is a separate job cell where you can register your name to get a job fast. Job packages average salary package is nearly 3 to 4 lpa and the highest is 15 lpa. I want to search for a job off campus because it will be better for me.
Campus Life :
Campus life is excellent, there are clubs, but the infrastructure is very old because the college is 103 years old now, there are hostels for boys and girls also, vehicle parking facilities are available, there are so many inter-college competitions and annual fest are held in the college, there are separate sports teacher and teams for various sports, NCC and NSS are there. Hostels are back in the college, and they are affordable also.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
