- Basically Doon is perfect but their mess food was good.
Remarks :
I choose this University because of their Chinese department. I already know that their Chinese department is good. The faculty teacher were also too helpful and energetic. I came here by clearing his Doon Entnce test.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Our course, Graduation in Chinese language is too tough as a beginner. Initially I face some difficulties to adopt and after first and second semester it became normalise. Few students were leave the course or fail in this course because of their difficulties level.
Internships Opportunities :
From this year our Chinese Department Collab with Uttrakhand government Internship in which the third year student were have to go to Gov. School to teach the intermediate students for 10 days. This intership helps us a lot in gaining experience and knowledge.
Placement Experience :
The Placement cell is pretty active for school of Language mainly they focus on Japanese Chinese and German placement and also focus on french and Spanish language. Their package starts from almost 5-6 lakh.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As a state government University their fees were little expensive as compared to Central University. They Charge 17000 per semester which were pretty a large amount in government University. Yes their hostel and mess fees is quite good.
Campus Life :
Doon University campus is quite small but it looks evergreen specially in Rainy and Winter time. They also have a big outdoor ground and a big library where all different foreign language books were available.
Hostel Facilities :
The Boys Hostel of here allow single boy single room and the food of mess is not good as it is. And in girls hostel they allow two or three girls in single room. Outside the campus if students want the PG, it also available but in terms of hostel and PG, Hostel is better than PG.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
