- I like the overall infrastructure like the play ground, chinar trees, classrooms, canteen etc.
- The faculty members including the principal are very cooperative.
Dislikes
- The gymnasium despite being well equipped remains closed.
- The classes are conducted in a not so disciplined manner.
Remarks :
This college is, i believe, a complete package of academics and other co-curricular activities. Besides it is nearby my home so chose this. The admission process is quite smooth. Admissions take place through CUET. I did not have to face any GD or PI.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my couse because i had a keen interest in studying humanities subjects. Most of the faculty have either qualified NET or have earned a P.Hd. Hence, they are highly qualified. The teaching methods employed are effective and interesting. The exam were conducted not so regularly at my time.
Internships Opportunities :
No i haven't opted for any internship, hence, i cannot furnish any details. This is also where the college lags behind. They must encourage and provide more internship opportunities for the students. I was however offered an opportunity to do apprenticeship in District Court Udhampur with 10000 rupees as a stipend.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility for the placement is graduation. The placement programs were not offered by the college earlier. However, the college recently started a placement program in collaboration with LearNet. JustDial company recently conducted an interview. My plans are to pursue higher studies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fees that i paid for my course was 7500 rupees so in total i had to pay around 22000 rupees. All other types of fees like caution fees, registration fees etc. was included in this. The fees varies as per the course like for BCA students, it was around 17000 rupees a year. I think hasn't been any increase in the fee recently.
Campus Life :
The life at the campus is, i would say, above average, if not excellent. The college has a gymnasium, big playground, TT court, volleyball court etc. The college has some chinar trees as well which add to the beauty. The library is well stocked and has the availability of daily national newspapers and journals. The college conducts regular seminars, debates etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Since i have not opted for a hostel so i won't be able to answer this question very effectively. But as far as i have heard the hostel facilities are not very excellent. Although, the hostel has a nice building and is located in a quite area with a mosque beside it, still, some say hostels are not great.

Placement Experience :
Placements in our college are average only, not very high but not zero also. Few companies come every year for campus recruitment, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and some local construction firms. They mostly offer roles like junior engineer, site supervisor or trainee. Highest package was around 8 LPA for IT profile, average goes between 3-4 LPA. Almost 50-60% students get placed from campus, rest students go for off campus or higher studies. Eligibility for placement is you need minimum 6.5 CGPA and no active backlogs, also they check communication skills in interviews. No big mass recruiters like in IITs, but still some opportunities are there if you prepare well. If not getting placed through campus, I plan to try off campus drives and also thinking to prepare for govt exams or maybe do M.Tech. College do conduct some training sessions and mock interviews but main thing depends on self preparation.

Placement Experience :
Here almost 95% students got placed.average salary is around 6-7 lpa.Companies like wipro,infuses,bhel visited here.my plan after degree is to do mtech from iits. Highest package is around 45 lakhs (off campus). On campus it is around 25 lpa.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I am always moved by my college’s course curriculum which is multicultural and gives students a wide range of choices. The courses are demanding but the lecturers are always ready to provide support and counsel. It is affordable to all through scholarships and fair fees.
Placement and college life at IIT Jammu
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement depends on the company, majorly all companies asks for minimum CGPA of 7 or 7.5. Some past major companies which comes for recruitment are amazon, sprinklr, paytm, nvidia, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, maruti suzuki etc. According to 2023 data, highest package offered was 53 LPA, average package offered was 18 LPA, minimum package was 5 LPA. Percentage of students get placed in 2023 is 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to either works on corporate or to prepare for UPSC.

quality of teaching is crucial, instructor give their best in the class and class strength is divides in two section according their enrollment number.i think fees is affordable and fees waiver for different category.
My University Life In The University of Kashmir.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for the placements of jobs was 65% in the grade card if graduation. The recruitment process was followed by a job examination and job interview. Cipla, SKIMS were some of the recruiters that visited the university and offered almost 15 jobs. The average package offered by the recruiters was 40-70 thousands per month. And the highest package offered by the recruiters was 1.1 Lakh per month. In this recruitment process almost 40% students got placements. I got a private job in a private pharmacy company. Now, I have chosen this job as my carrier after getting the degree.

Decent placement is seen here.Students get placed from semester 7 .TCs,Adobe etc companies comes here to give opportunities for students.Highest package of last year from chemical branch is 13 lakh and median is 7.5 lakh.

Placement Experience :
There were no job or placement opportunities available and it didn’t bothered the college. The main aim of the students as well included to just pass the degree and get out of there. Faculties also discouraged about the job market scenario outside the college which alleviated the trouble.

Previously there was 100% on campus placement in university but now it's only somewhat 70%. Companies come for placement also they select students but most of time it sells based company not a product based company also they offer quit low packages. Most of students try off Campus Placement where they get some good offers. Average package is about 5-7 lakh
