Getting IIT is tough but it is worth it
Remarks :
It is one of India's best engineering colleges and compitition is quite rough but results are also worth the effort. Every year lakhs of people compete of few thousand seats so the brilliant of minds gether here.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Electrical engineering have scope in future as semiconductor technology is advancing and major part for this course was my rank in jee advanced. professors are very famous and good . Term exam were not too tough but it required hardwork .
Internships Opportunities :
I am still in first year so I didn't opt for internship but I heard from my seniors that internships are quite interesting and play a vital role in your placement but it is not compulsory for placements.
Placement Experience :
Placements of the college are one of the best in india . Recently many seniors have us guidance as they got there placement in December. Usually package is 10 lpa or above ,this is what I heard from my seniors and what they got was above this .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There is different things they get fees for like per semester messing fees like 26 thousand , about 5 thousand hostel fees, 25 hundred electricity charges , student maintainance of 7 thousand ,750 for medical insurance and 25 hundred is written miscellaneous fees.
Campus Life :
There are meny fests happening the whole year ,a main tech event is in March called cognizance. There is quite a big library next to lecture halls . There are so many clubs like cultural,tech and gaming clubs too. There happens annual sports competition. Just search for event name and you can get website from chrome easily .other wise you can visit official website and get information from there.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel are provided the day you enroll. Mess provide variety of food according to seasons and quality of mess food is good , and rooms provided are also good . You can't find fault in infrastructure of the college at all .

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
