Jamia is one of the best colleges in delhi for architecture and also the most affordable because usually architecture has very high fees and also additional expenditure for stationary is also there so it was the best for me as its also nearer to my home so it was the best option for me for the admissions we have to give nata and based in the cutoff we get admission usually there are 4 rounds and one spot round at the time of admissions and there are fair reservations at the college like every other college
I think the course is carefully curated to impart the max knowledge no doubt the workload is high which in general is high for architecture but with time management everything's is mangable what I like the most is that our college prefers in hands on knowledge with site visits and yearly study trips for 1zt year we went to Rajasthan and 2nd year we'll go to hilly regions and 3rd year to kerela and 4th year MoRTH east the purpose of these tripsis to study the the climate of each region and vernacular architecture and how to combat with different types of climates
No but I'll be applying for internships in summer vacations but many of my classmates are doing internships in various ngos. But getting interships is easier due to the excellent college reputation .
Jamia has a 100%placement rate for architecture . As the last semester of the 5th year is for the compulsory intership uf you don't do the intership you degree will not be approved so jamia makes sure there students are getting real life experience which in turn helps get them jobs
We have around 40k per semester fees for SFS and 16 k per year for regular bacht there is a stark fee diffrence in both bachtes but the syllabus is almost same and everything is same some of the teachers are also same it's like diffrent sections the major difference between these two sections is that for regular bacht the cut offs at the time of admissions is higher as compared to the cut offs for SFS bacht
The life at campus is simply Amazing there are a lot of clubs ,that you can join the advantage is that there is wide range of students from all over india so you learn a lot and interdepartmental tournaments take place and the best things us facilities you get acces to the sports complex which is very beautifully built with nearly every sport available and the libraries are top nocht and even some of the are open 24/7 although I felt like the infrastructure for the architecture department could have been better but the rest of the campus is absolutely pretty with the lush greenery and there are various parks and several affordable and hygienic canteens and even there's and art gallery withung jamia and frequent event throughout the year and there are various department so is a very happening college uf you stay active you could gain much much more experience

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
