Likes
- The infrastructure have developed a lot in the last 2 years and there is a lot nicer place in the campus such as a Kali temple, with the view of a pond with migratory birds coming around, the campus is surrounded by many trees which make it look beautiful and peaceful.
- The faculties in our department were really supportive they will help you with any problem you ask them of. They make life in college easy. The Hods are also nice with a lot of intellectual ability.
Dislikes
- The college doesn't have ac in every room and it became a lot harsh in the summer for the students to sit for 5 hours without ac. The campus have a free e rickshaw but it never shows up and it is only 1 in number so they need to increase it in numbers for students as the university is so large that it is very hard to move from one Department to the other.
- The campus life is great for those to enjoy as there are events happening all the time.
Remarks :
Yes there were multiple discussions in the class and also interviews. There were test every 2 months. And you can get admission through CUET exam. The cutoff is usually less and you can admission easily through cuet entrance if you have scored more than 100 marks in it
Course Curriculum Overview :
My course was MA in English and there is a huge Department of it in the campus with around 7 to 8 faculties and 2 staff members. They help us with everything. The exams were done timely and it was very strictly organised with the vision of examination Department. There is no partiality or lack of supervision in the exams.
Internships Opportunities :
No, I have not opted for any internship in the college it was not available there. There is very less opportunity in the campus for internship of Arts students but there is more opportunities for Science students in this matter.
Placement Experience :
The placement and job opportunities are less in Arts programs. They are slowly improving it but still as compared to other colleges you have to find your own job after the degree here. Many students in the English Department are suggested to go for PHD after completion of masters.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fee structure is around 6-7 k. Yes, there is scholarship available for students statewise. The tuition fees is approx 3k and caution fees is around 800, admission fees is around 1500 and other charges are included.
Campus Life :
Umang is the fest name and it was organised once a year yet there are many more functions happening throughout the year in the campus. The central library is huge and it contains a lot of books for the students and also a large sitting area for the students to focus on the studies. There is also a Physical education department and they organize . There is dance club, singing club, sports club and others are run by students.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel mess is okay. There require to change their menu time to time. But outsiders are never allowed to eat in the hostel mess. The registration process of hostel is very long and its also quite affordable it is 10 k a year . Many students uses to live outside in pg they are also quite affordable with rent upto 3 to 4 k per month, for a comfortable pg with every kind of facility.

I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. All lectures are done in proper classrooms and study materials are also provides digitally. According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placement Experience :
Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
