The college is in the vicinity of my residence and it is an old and premier education institution with a strong alumni. These factors made me choose the college. Good aspects of the college include good infrastructure, great library, transportation facilities, qualified faculty, women safety etc. Bad aspect is that a lot of noise from the adjoining road disturbs the classrooms. No i did not have to face any GD or PI for getting admission.
I chose to pursue B.Sc because i was greatly into science and i wanted to become a professor in mathematics. All of the faculty members are highly qualified. Most of them have done their M.Phil along with Doctorate. Besides their qualification, they're very approachable and supportive. The exams are conducted twice a year and are not very difficult. Almost all students are able to get through.
No I did not opt for any internship opportunity. The college itself does not offer any internship opportunity to the students. The college must improve in this respect and provides students a real working experience by getting them internships.
After the completion of the course one is sufficiently qualified to get placed. However this college does not offer placements. The candidate has to approach the companies himself. After getting this course one can expect and average salary of INR 20000 per month full stop my plans after the degree were to pursue Masters of Science.
The year wise fees that I paid for my course was INR 6000. This amount was inclusive of the other compulsory charges like tuition fees, registration fees, development fees lab fees and so on. My other batchmates paid had to pay different fees depending upon their course for example the students with humanities background had to pay INR 5000 per year. Yes I was a recipient of merit cum means scholarship. I used to receive an amount of INR 7000 per annum. These days Prime Ministers scholarship scheme is also available to the students.
Every year the college celebrates and organises a fest on its annual day which is celebrated mostly in the month of October. One of the main features of the college is its highly equipped library which has almost all the required books, journals, study materials research papers and so on. Classrooms spacious, airy and with good furniture. Moreover the classrooms are augmented with technological support. Each classroom is equipped with a smart board which is connected to Wi-Fi. The college has a large playground and many sports activities take place. The college has a large and fully constructed Indoor Stadium where students are able to play tennis etc even in bad weather conditions. The college teams have also played cricket at National level.
The hostels are located in the back side of the college. I lived in the Heemal hostel. The hostel rooms are good and spacious. However the washroom facility is not up to the mark. The food quality provided at the mess was nice. We use to be provided tea at two times and rice with some vegetables for lunch and dinner. The hostel fees is about INR 20000 for annum. A number of rooms are also available for students outside the campus in the Qazi Bagh area.
For placement University conducted job fair for the students where Banks, Private sector industries HR's also visited to take interview and thoroughly conducted the interview and make selection of the deserving students.
Placements in our college are average only, not very high but not zero also. Few companies come every year for campus recruitment, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and some local construction firms. They mostly offer roles like junior engineer, site supervisor or trainee. Highest package was around 8 LPA for IT profile, average goes between 3-4 LPA. Almost 50-60% students get placed from campus, rest students go for off campus or higher studies. Eligibility for placement is you need minimum 6.5 CGPA and no active backlogs, also they check communication skills in interviews. No big mass recruiters like in IITs, but still some opportunities are there if you prepare well. If not getting placed through campus, I plan to try off campus drives and also thinking to prepare for govt exams or maybe do M.Tech. College do conduct some training sessions and mock interviews but main thing depends on self preparation.
Here almost 95% students got placed.average salary is around 6-7 lpa.Companies like wipro, infuses, bhel visited here.my plan after degree is to do mtech from iits. Highest package is around 45 lakhs (off campus). On campus it is around 25 lpa.
I am always moved by my college’s course curriculum which is multicultural and gives students a wide range of choices. The courses are demanding but the lecturers are always ready to provide support and counsel. It is affordable to all through scholarships and fair fees.
Eligibility criteria for placement depends on the company, majorly all companies asks for minimum CGPA of 7 or 7.5. Some past major companies which comes for recruitment are amazon, sprinklr, paytm, nvidia, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, maruti suzuki etc. According to 2023 data, highest package offered was 53 LPA, average package offered was 18 LPA, minimum package was 5 LPA. Percentage of students get placed in 2023 is 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to either works on corporate or to prepare for UPSC.
quality of teaching is crucial, instructor give their best in the class and class strength is divides in two section according their enrollment number.i think fees is affordable and fees waiver for different category.
The eligibility criteria for the placements of jobs was 65% in the grade card if graduation. The recruitment process was followed by a job examination and job interview. Cipla, SKIMS were some of the recruiters that visited the university and offered almost 15 jobs. The average package offered by the recruiters was 40-70 thousands per month. And the highest package offered by the recruiters was 1.1 Lakh per month. In this recruitment process almost 40% students got placements. I got a private job in a private pharmacy company. Now, I have chosen this job as my carrier after getting the degree.
Decent placement is seen here.Students get placed from semester 7 .TCs,Adobe etc companies comes here to give opportunities for students.Highest package of last year from chemical branch is 13 lakh and median is 7.5 lakh.
There were no job or placement opportunities available and it didn’t bothered the college. The main aim of the students as well included to just pass the degree and get out of there. Faculties also discouraged about the job market scenario outside the college which alleviated the trouble.
Previously there was 100% on campus placement in university but now it's only somewhat 70%. Companies come for placement also they select students but most of time it sells based company not a product based company also they offer quit low packages. Most of students try off Campus Placement where they get some good offers. Average package is about 5-7 lakh
