- The faculty of the department are really good with friendly behaviour and helpful kindness.
- From the hostel to department it's easy to reach as it is near from girls hostel .
Dislikes
- The water cooler is in really was condition there is only one water cooler which does not have good water.
- The washroom facility available is unhygienic it remains always dirty cannot be used at all.
Remarks :
This College is certified A + + NAAC it is situated in Bilaspur Chhattisgarh so it is near for me to travel because I live in Chhattisgarh my hometown is in Chhattisgarh whenever I want I can come back and even reach there in a very less time and due to its being a Central University and the degree matters I choose this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
There is a subject choice in every semester the after the fee payment for the course. The students study on each and every type of subject as there are 7 subjects to be chosen. The faculties in the social work department are really good and this department is also near to the girls hostel as I live in the campus girls hostel.
Internships Opportunities :
Student of 1st semester in bachelors of social work there is no internship available for us and for internship it is required to find it by ourselves the students of 3rd semester opportunity of internship.
Placement Experience :
As I have heard that there is internship compulsory in the third semester but I am the first semester so not aware of it so much but in social work department internships are to be found by our selves.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The caution money is 3500 and 3450 per semester. There are 8 semesters according to New Education Policy.the total is 31100 for 8 semesters in total. Payment is to be done in online mode in samarth portal and subject is to be chosen after fee payment.
Campus Life :
The college best is held every year. There is a community or a group for everything available such as dance music acting singing. International conferences are held time to time for many days in which students from foreign countries participate. There is a Yojana working and run by NSS students faculty known as Swabhiman thali where they provide food and nutritious food for just rupees 10 for everybody. There is a sathi yojna working around the campus for dropping students from one place to another at just rupees 5.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes I good marks and security so I got a chance to stay in the hostel but a lot of time get wasted in the hostel due to the different meetings and conferences held. The food in the message of good quality but not as expected not like home. The infrastructure of the new hostel is really good. In the department itself in the time of admission we have to apply for the hostel and if we eligible we get the hostel not much facilities is provided in the room even the mattress is to be what byself there is source of e vehicles or autos around the campus and students can also use bicycles and walking more to reach the departments.

I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. All lectures are done in proper classrooms and study materials are also provides digitally. They are very easy to approach and helpful in nature, they help us solving doubts and gives us tips in study.

There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. For the the students in the BTech where awarded with better job opportunities and placement.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placement Experience :
Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

Rungta collage have a good numbers of companies in there list , and most of them visited every year for placements , almost 90% + students got placed every year and the average salary offered is 4 LPA.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
