- Everything is great about this college and it has a good infrastructure good faculty and the campus life is also good the Chandigarh life is also good and there a lot of things available like many clubs in college for students
Dislikes
- Few teachers and slow process of work and hostel waiting is what is dont like about the college
Remarks :
The college is great not alot of restrictions like private universities and infrastructure is decent bunks are allowed attendance is also not strict great college and alot of diversity for students and beautiful chandigarh life
Course Curriculum Overview :
The academic is difficult teachers make difficult papers in engineering but classes are avg just go and sit use phone nobody cares mark your attendance and come back exams are difficult but you have options for minors there are total 2 minor exams and the highest marks in the exam are recorded as per choise you can give 1 minor or both your choise the total will be considered out of highest exam 1 week preparatory holiday is given before major exams
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opted for internship and so I cannot talk about this topic but a lot of people who do internships are given attendance and given marks for that particular semester so college does provide internships and help students to join internships in many different companies
Placement Experience :
The placements are good every year companies visit the campus for placement and companies like delloite, zs, infosys, tcs,etc many other companies visit the avg package is 6lpa and highest goes upto 40 lpa
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Exam fee per semester 3200 Semester fee 1st 60,000 2nd semester fee 54,000 Ews 50% fee reduction And scholarship for sc/st available students who are not able to pay the fees are also given scholarships and there are many scholarships available for different kind of students which is the great thing the government provides scholarship for needy students who wants to study but have financial problems
Campus Life :
There are alot of clubs and the building are great the whole PU campus is a complete package of everything its a big and good campus everything is available 24/7 library 24/7 open campus and many other facilities
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels are only given to topper students and the waiting list on Hostel allotment is a long line very few students get hostels one of the worst things about this Universities that you do not get hostels allotted hostel allotted to the students who are toppers and have high marks during admission and the waiting period for hostels is very long?

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
