- Faculty, campus life, attendance policy, placement, hostels and so many things
- Faculties are so good and also best is attendce policy you get enough time to do other things and enjoy college life
Dislikes
- Mainly infrastructure there is only 3 block but labs are well equipped and there is no AC in classrooms
- I disliked only infrastructure it can be better than this.
Remarks :
Since the placement is decent un UIET and also the fee is also less, this was the best I couldn't get also it has an exam named Pumeet by clearing this you can also change your branch so this is also a reason. When I talked about this college I got good feedback as the faculty are well trained and have good knowledge of their field and they are helpful also these are the things why would I choose this college. For admission, I enrolled for HAC Chandigarh and counseling is done based on JEE main rank cutoff for biotechnology in the general category is around 2.5 lac, and for CSE 40k is 50k and mech 1.2 lac. Here attendance policy is not so strict so if you want to do startup or other activities you can do them here.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are too good here they are well educated and have very good knowledge and also too helpful if you have any doubts they will clear your doubts most of the faculties are PhD and they teach in a funny way that you can understand more The exam was done on time as in December our end sem has ended and if you attend class regularly then you can score good marks. Fees increase yearly but not too much minimum amount is increased also there are so many scholarships available here based on your income our academics. Even I can't count the number scholarships available here.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria are 6.5 cg and also back in-semester paper Amazon Deloitte Mahindra TCS Infosys Amex and many companies visit here more than 40 companies visit the campus. Highest is 45 lac(off campus) and 26lac(on campus) and average is 9.10 lac If you are from CSE or ECE then most of the students are placed and if you are from the core branch then around 60-70 Percent which is a decent
Campus Life :
Campus life is overall good. There are two fests in this college one is Legacy and the other is Goonj but don't expect so much from it Books are easily available here in the Library even on campus a 5-floor library is available rather than the UIET library There are so many clubs here and you can do so many extracurricular activities mainly clubs are GDSC TPC comic club acting club even many more Regular sports events are organized such as cricket tournaments and football tournaments separate grounds for football cricket and hockey are available hockey ground is so good you can even compare it to any ground in India. There is an AI advertisement startup that comes on Shark Tank for funding made by UIET students and so much more You can enjoy hostel Life so much because it is a 24×7 hostel and there are no restrictions in the hostel and the price of the hostel is only 6000 per semester and the mess is also on a meal basis if you eat then only you have to pay and per meal, the charge is only 40 rupee.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
