For this college , I gave Jee main exam and I applied in JAC Delhi counseling through which I got ECE -AI branch . it's pretty easy for Delhi students to get into this college since 85 percentage sears are reserved for them( You can get cse ai if u have decent percentile) . For outside Delhi ,for ECE -AI ,depends on which category you are for ews it's 45000, and so it varies. College is good in terms of placement and exposure and that's the sole reason I choose this college. Cons are you will get bored of college eventually because campus is so small and there is very limited open space especially for sports. infrastructure is not really good like you would expect for a college related to technology should have
Course is pretty new ,it is based on NEP 2020 , faculty is both good and bad ,it basically depends which one you came across to . I choose this course because I'm interested in AI and since I couldn't get into AI ML that was only option for me . Mid term and end term are the only exams that take place ,mid term is after 2 months of semester start and end term is after little more than 1 month of mid term before which you will have to give practical also. Exams difficulty level is not that high , it is mostly based upon pyqs .
I have not opted for any internship, since it's my first year and you are available for applying for internship after 2nd year. You can apply for placement after 3rd year . You can expect average of 13 lakh salary package.
Placement are hell good like even in recession there were so many good companies visiting college like Microsoft,Google, Adobe, motorQ, LinkedIn. For this year it is rumoured that around 36 students alone were shortlisted for Microsoft itself with package of 52 lakh and more.for last year highest offer was made by MotorQ of 1 crore and international offer for 82000 pounds. Depends on branch on how many students are getting placed I will say around 75 percent of students are placed . I plan to get a job in an IT company after my degree completion.
Well ,fees increases year by year for 2024-25 fees is 137500,2025-26 it is 145000 ,for 2026-27 it is 155000 and for 2027-28 it is 170500. And hostel fees also increases year by year ,fir 2024-25 it was 144000 and extra electricity charge if you choose Ac room of 5000 per year ( first year students only get ac room) and for cooler you have to pay 2000 per year. Fees is same for everyone although scholarship is there in college one is for person who tops the college and other one are Delhi government's own scholarship which you can apply in college itself through academic branch office.
Campus Life will be pretty boring, there's nothing to explore. You will eventually find yourself in main ground of college because that's where everyone is . Societies are pretty active and there are so many societies you will be hell confused which one to join . Sports are not that much there in college . You get mainly access to it if you are part of SYNERGY ( sports society). IEEE,techneeds , MSC IGDTUW,BHAV and so many more.
I have not opted for hostel but as much as I know most of them say mess food is worst hostel rooms are so small , washrooms are mostly dirty. Yoh have to wash your clothes ,no laundary. Night out is allowed if you talk with warden.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
