There is a written MCQ test called CUET is there to take admission in this college. Interview is not required and on the basis of CUET score you will get this college also this college requires a good score if your are in general category.
There is a good amount of exposure in the college. The faculties are the helping hands to students. They provide the study material required by the student for study. They provide you with instructions to stand out in a particular course. Faculties and the curriculum for every courses is very good.
Many internship opportunities are provided by the college. There is WhatsApp group that will provide you with every internship programme. And a society named the placement cell helps you a lot with internships and job offerings.
Placements are too good from Sri Venkateswara College but they are good only for commerce and arts students not for science students. Placement package is very good for commerce and arts background students.
Fee of the college is affordable for my course but some of the Delhi University college have lesser fees for this same course but this college comes on top in south campus for that you have to pay. There is a scholarship programme run by the college called Freeship in which you have to meet the requirements to become eligible and all the fees for every year has been refunded to you.
Social life is so good as you will get a good amount of exposure in your college and students came from different cities to study in this college and you will get to know different cultures as there are many societies related to this in college.
Hostel Life is also good provided with mess and a good amount of space in rooms but there are no outsiders allowed in the college hostels. I don't know abouth the fees as I am from Delhi so there is no need for hostels for me .
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
