- The college's environment is so loveable, the infrastructure is one of the best from bee conservatory to auditorium to amphitheatre to lovers point (which is kinda very famous but actually now a lovers spot ,it's a sitting area having cafeteria) to nescafe and mitti cafe and a lot.
- The campus life is a very energetic experience to anyone who will come to Hansraj as it gives you the zeal to do anything to cross your own limits to challenge yourself to prove yourself in front of the whole college.
Dislikes
- The thing which I not liked about the college is to attending classes daily 😂.
- And sometimes the ground is not open for us due to the ncc practices and some other college works.
Remarks :
I have taken this college because Hansraj College is one of the reputed colleges of Delhi University with one of the best alumni network and a very energetic campus environment. The admission is on the basis of my 12th class marks which i scored as there is no Cuet ug examination at that time.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I wanna do chemistry honours but actually I am not clearing the cutoff marks for that so I have chosen this course. The faculty is very good as they all are Phd holders or practicing that with the very good academic background. The exams take place two times in a year which means semester wise. The difficulty level varies from easy to difficult just like any other exam.
Internships Opportunities :
I interned under one of our techers in Chemistry related research.You will find out other internships too from various societies and via Internship Cell of College in which you have to make yourself registered.
Placement Experience :
In your final year Companies from every domain which you can think of generally comes to the college to hire meritorious students or the students which are good in their respective skills. The offers may vary it may go from ?5 lac to ?50 lacs and more than that on the basis of your calibre. I am preparing for Masters in JNU.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fees for my course is ?24500 yearly. The other fees are all included in this only. The college provides for a scholarship for low income family students in which a candidates interview happens. Apart form this other scholarships are also there for the students from the delhi university and college too.
Campus Life :
Hansraj's college fest is organised yearly in the month of April or may just like other colleges in DU. The library is one of the best in the whole DU campus where you will find books from science to arts to philosophy to psychology to any other languages including the whole hindu religious scriptures in addition to that 40+ magazines varying from competitive exams to fitness to fashion to politics. The computers are provided in the library so that you can easily access them online as well as offline. All the classroms are air conditioned and well maintained. The sports and other societies are like a cherry on the cake for making hansraj a most prestigious college in whole DU. From investment cell to debating dance singing dramatics poetry food etc. You wi find 50+ societies and clubs in Hansraj which is largest in number than any other colleges and it is proven also that hansraj has most number of societies.
Hostel Facilities :
I not opted for hostel as hostel is allotted on the basis of yours hometown distance from delhi ncr area in addition to your semester results and your performance. I lived in pg in kamla nagar which rented for ?8500 for one person in double sharing room. There are other PGs too which are very costly as people there are demanding for too much of price as demand is very huge which is so bad for students and parents as they can't afford that much.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
