DTU electrical engineering review
Remarks :
DTU is among one of the best government engineering college in delhi for a student with a good placement record and there are no interviews and GD for admissions only JEE mains rank is sufficient. Also the college is very near to the Metro station like 4 km distance and It is easy to commute to the college by road and the college is not so hectic. You get an ample of free time to explore the campus and enjoy your college life up to the most.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is basic engineering curriculum which is used in every other engineering college and the faculties are mostly from IIT and highly knowledgeable And there are many facilities like advanced laboratories and helpers present in the labs.
Internships Opportunities :
There are many companies which come for the summer internships mostly come in the third year of the college and recruit the students although the number of students forget internship from on campus are very low as there are less number of vacancies available for the internships and the take branches like comp science software engine engineering are mostly preferred by the companies and a few core companies like Texas instruments Come for the electrical and electronics engineering insurance for the core work
Placement Experience :
then criteria for the placement is most of the companies allow student who have no backlogs or have either minimum 6 CGPA for the criteria. There are many companies like Infosys, TCS Apple Microsoft and other IT companies. Banking companies like JP Morgan Stanley and many consulting companies like bain and company also come recruit students from Delhi technological university from all courses like BTech , MBA
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Back in 2021 my first year fee was 1.92 lakhs In 2022 it was increased to 2.12 lakhs In 2023 it was it was increased to 2.34 lakhs And in 2024 the final Year fee was 2.4 lakhs It was increasing by 10-20 percent every financial year
Campus Life :
The life Compass is so amazing because my compass is around 160 acres of land with mostly greenry area and there are new buildings. Also present in the campus. Recently a new raj soin hall is inaugurated in the college and now Dominos bistro and there are so many other food thoughts that are present inside the campus only and the campus also have 4 to 5 boys hostel and three girls hostel and also accommodation of faculties.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
