- The professors are highly qualified and are a good source of knowledge and guidance
- The campus coding culture is very good with students excelling in DSA.
Dislikes
- The mess food is average and it is hard to survive on it
- The administration is very strict and has a backward mindset
Remarks :
My jee rank was the main reason for chosing this college. Admission is done through JEE Advanced and jossa counselling. I prepared for JEE from resonance kota. This college gave me the best branch and college combination. IIT Roorkee is a brand in itself so that is why I chose this college
Course Curriculum Overview :
My JEE rank and my interest in physics led me to chose this course. Apart from my interest in applications of AI in mechanical Engineering also helped. All the faculties are highly educated and masters of their fields with degrees from top colleges of the world. In a semester their are mid term and end term exams. There difficulty depends on the professor of the course.
Internships Opportunities :
I have an internship at ITC under their kites internship program. They are giving a stipend of 2.25 lacs a month. All the faang companies visit the campus for internships and offer a stipend above 1 lac a month.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement depends on the company. Google, Microsoft, Adobe, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs are regular visitors. Highest package offered last year was 1.5cr and average was 15 lac. More than 80% of students who applied got a job.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For each semester- Tuition fees- 100000 Mess fees+ hostel fees=40000 other fees- 10000 SC/ST students are exempted from Tuition fees. James Thomson scholarship for jee rank under 300 covers full fees of the college. MCM(Meri cum means) for financially weak students who score good covers the full fees.
Campus Life :
Thomso is the cultural fest held in October and cognizance is the tech fest held in march. A wide variety of books are present in the library from educational to literature. Major sports like swimming, tennis, cricket, football, squash have facilities in the campus.
Hostel Facilities :
The mess food is average with normal food like dal chawal roti sabzi. The quality is moderate with taste being average. Hostel registration is included in the course registration. And the fees is quite minimal for affordability.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
