IITR EE Review
Remarks :
Cut off after the JEE (Joint entrance examination) advanced was released which determined my college. For attempting jee advanced you first have to qualify jee mains exam held in January and April before advanced if you don't get anything from advanced exam you still can go to NITs and other colleges through Mains
Course Curriculum Overview :
Each semester - 5-6 subjects 1st and 2nd year are most engaging in terms of academics. In 3rd 4th year there is not much load. About syllabus and all things it starts from circuit network theory, then electronics and power system courses. Alongside courses from other branches like CSE and ECE
Internships Opportunities :
On Day 1 top companies hire students (mostly CSE and DSAI students) Companies like Quantbox, Alpha Grep, Rubrik, Google, Uber, Salesforce Hires initially paying high stipends varying from 2 lacs to 7 lacs per month And further on other companies follow with decreasing stipend.
Placement Experience :
Many companies visit IITR. Mostly for software roles hiring but also as of I know many core companies for electric/electronics are now a frequent visitors making opportunity for students. Other opportunities such as : AI/ML Engineer roles, consultant.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tution fees - 100000 Rs Hostel and Mess fee - 38000 Rs This is per semester. This is for general and OBC candidates for rest the tution fees is waved off. Still if you are unable to pay such demanding fee you can get scholarship based on your family ITR.
Campus Life :
There are clubs available for any field of interest you can think of. But not all of them are active as the others but you can find students with same interest as yours which is very fruitful. Some popular clubs among students are : PAG(Programming and algorithms). SDS( software dev society)
Hostel Facilities :
Yes, Student distribution in hostel for boys is as follows: 1st year- 2-3 sharing room (Rajendra Bhawan) 2nd year - Jawahar Bhawan (double sharing) 3rd year onwards - other bhawan (single room) Mess quality improves after 2nd year but canteen are also there.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
