- The college infrastructure is good while washroom and classroom is not much well maintained thus I think because it is the government university, the campus life is amazing.
- The faculties here is knowledgable and are well educated from the premier institutions and they teach us well.
Dislikes
- The facilities like less well maintained classroom and washrooms I don’t like.
- The placements opportunities and internship is not very good it is ok.
Remarks :
The good aspect of this college is study environment, good environment surrounded by trees and flora, various species of species and all around dogs which live in the university, library having a lots of books as well as both Indian authors and foreign authors, the section of languages is also there. It having two seating rooms, one is reading room and another is competitive exams preparation room having lots of book of various competitive exams. The Wi-Fi is in all the building but yes connection is weak. The rooms were there but after class it will be locked. The network connection is also weak in some classes. The teachers were so qualified and knowledgable while the washrooms were not so well maintained that I don’t like and the canteen has not so much space but it is budget friendly.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because I want to do research and I love this biology subject, this biological sciences include all the biology domains and I want to do some research part in my life so u choose to do BSc. The faculties are so knowledgable and best in their own fields they are well qualified from well known institutions as well as they teach us in good ways. The difficulty level of term exams is moderate to hard and also the term exams occur in two times per semester which is mid and end terms. The mid term occur in march and October while end term occur in may and December. The practical’s exams occur in both end term per year which includes viva, written exam and performance in practical is calculated.
Internships Opportunities :
No I don’t opt for any internship till now but yes i have to obtain the internship in next semester which is in my 3 rd year. There were projects and I have to work in that while ours senior do the internship some get outside paid internship while some got unpaid internship into the university.
Placement Experience :
The placement and job opportunity were there like for BBA BCOM and also BA courses, the languages courses having huge amount of placement opportunities and also high paying jobs were there and for others the placement is also there. While some students do give entrance examination and go out for study and jobs. The few visited recruiters were Amazon, decathlon etc. the highest package is 14 LPA and lowest is around 2-3 LPA. The 50-60% students get placed. My plans after getting degree is giving the entrance exams for research like phd or scientist recruitments.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There is 41750 in first year but now we have to give 17000 every semester it means 34000 per year and it is for general category but for reservation classes it is half of general category fees. There is scholarship opportunity also like 2 scholarship are there one is given by university to the students whom parents income is less than 1 lakh per Annum while other scholarship is there in which given to the students whom parents income are less than 3 lakh per annum. I also got CM higher education scholarship, these where given by the students who are scoring good grades and are in top 3 rd positions in their respective courses.
Campus Life :
The feet is conducted on September every year while the fresher party is conducted in January each year. Their is lots of book in the library, total 77 scholarly journals and magazines covering a wide range of subjects and 126 e journal is available in the Doon university library app while the foreign and Indian authors books were there. The sports playground is there which having lots of matches of cricket, football, badminton, basketball were there. The other extracurricular activities include the debate, debate club of Doon university perform well, there are also clubs which includes art club, design club, acting club etc.
Hostel Facilities :
No I am the day scholar but I know that the hostel facilities were good while the mess food is ok not so good. The registration process for hostel is done every semester like filling the form and payment of fees. Yes the locality have various room and PG

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
