No, admission was based on CUET score. One can prepare by thoroughly reading NCERT. I chose this college because it is peaceful, the faculty is good and it is one of the reputed colleges. One may consider this college if they want a decent college experience. A lot of departmental fests along with the annual fest Nexus happen every year.
I want to pursue a future in commerce that's why I chose this course. The term exams happen regularly. The questions are of moderate to difficult level. The faculty of this college is very qualified. Most of them are PhD scholars of JNU.
No. I have not done any internship till today. Various companies provide internship opportunities to students and some even get PPO. The companies which hire ranges from NGOs to Big4 and various Indian companies.
Everyone is eligible for internships while placements are only for final year students. EY, PWC, Deloitte, Grant and Thornton are some of the companies which hire students. Almost half of the students gets placed.
First year fees was around 16000. This year it was increased to 20000. There are various scholarships available on NSP portal and various private scholarships can also be availed if someone is eligible. There are separate scholarships for sc st students and meritorious students.
Annual fest is mostly conducted in the month of February or March. Departmental fests are conducted in every semester. There are a lot of books available in the library plus you can access DU online library. There are sports teams like Football, Basketball etc. Some of them have won at National level.
Didn't opt for hostel. I rented a pg in Satya Niketan. Hostel releases separate lists and admits students based on merit and interview. One can fill the form with all the necessary documents . If they are shortlisted, they will be called for interview.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
